What is there left to fight for when you have lost everything? What can you do when you've lost the game you have been playing to keep your life. What do you do when the only one who can save your life, is your enemy. Why do you fight. For revenge. . .
Maverick had gone through these words many times in his head. He now remembered them like they were life lessons taught to him by his parents. Once they were carved in his mind. . . he would never forget them.
He stood staring at the puddle of blood before him. He couldn't bear it any longer, he turned and walked away from the body that was his friend. His paws padded lightly on the soft ground, still covered in snow from Leafbare. The cool morning mist bit at his fur like snake bites, and he knew, these words he had repeated once again, were the meaning of his new age of life. He lived for revenge. . .
Revenge. . . . He knew others thirsted for it too, and now he knew that together they could do it. If they all worked together, they could each, one by one, get there revenge.
